The World Federation for Neurorehabilitation (WFNR) are a membership charity who have been advancing research, education, and clinical practice in neurorehabilitation throughout the world for over 25 years.
The charity required a new website that could be the central location for health professionals to engage as members with a special interest in the subject. The benefits of membership are to see what activities the charity is promoting, connect with other members and to see news focusing on neurorehabilitation.
World Federation for NeuroRehabilitation
The start of the project saw us work with the WFNR to develop their charity brand identity. We did this by introducing a new logo and other key brand elements to give the charity more of a consistent presence both online and through their printed materials.
The website needed to communicate with different user groups, so through in-depth discussions with the charities international board, we established a completely new information architecture for the website and a review of the content to allow the website to focus on the needs of the user.
The website needed to reduce administration time by incorporating a number of core functional tasks. These included an online membership system which allows for users to register and pay for new membership and to renew their membership annually.
The website is built on the Unicity CMS, which allows the WNFR team to easily update the content of the website when they need to.
The website launch has been a huge success and well received by both the board and members. The charity’s new website has enabled them to have a central location for their international members to feel they can come to expand their knowledge in the field of neurorehabilitation.
